Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Langlogy (“the App”) and the https://www.langlogy.com/ website (“the Website”). By using the App or accessing to our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. Use of the App and Website

Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App or the Website. By using the App or the Website, you affirm that you are either at least 13 years old or have parental consent to use the App.
Account Registration: You must create an account to use certain features of the App. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up-to-date.
Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to use the App or Website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. This includes, but is not limited to, spamming, hacking, and infringing on the intellectual property rights of others.

2. Subscription Plans

Free Tier: Offers limited usage quotas and features.
Dual Explorer: Allows full access to two selected languages, with the ability to change these languages every 28 days.
Polyglot Passport: Unlimited access to all languages we offer.
Payment and Renewal: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the renewal date.

All paid plans offer monthly and yearly billing; yearly plans are ~17% cheaper. Fees are billed in advance and automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.

3. Payment and Cancellations

Payments for mobile apps are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play Store; web payments via Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but your access will remain valid until the end of the current billing period.
There are no refunds for partial subscription periods.

4. Intellectual Property

Ownership: All content on the App and Website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Antlogy LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws.
License: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our services for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. User-Generated Content

Users may create flashcards, translations, and AI chat interactions within the App. Currently, this content is private unless shared. In the future, if you choose to share content with other users:

You must comply with applicable laws.
We reserve the right to delete inappropriate content or ban users who violate these terms.
Shared content may be removed if it breaches any legal or ethical guidelines.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that it is in the best interest of the Langlogy App or langlogy.com.

7. Price Changes

We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time. Users will be notified of price changes via email and/or in-app notifications. Any price changes will not affect the current subscription period, and changes will take effect at the next billing cycle.

8. Downgrades

If you downgrade from a paid plan to the Free Plan, your access to paid features will remain until the end of the subscription term. After that, you will revert to the Free Plan, and some data related to paid features may be deleted.

9. Data Retention

For paid subscribers, your data will be retained as long as your subscription is active and the App remains available.
If you downgrade or fail to make a payment, your data may be deleted 15 days after the change in your subscription status.

10. Data Controller

For users located in the European Union, Antlogy LLC acts as the Data Controller for the processing of your personal data. If you have any questions or requests regarding the handling of your personal data, you can contact us at support@langlogy.com.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Antlogy LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the App or Website.

12. License Grant

Antlogy LLC grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to install and use the Langlogy service on any device or platform you own or control (including Apple‑branded devices, Android devices, and web browsers), subject to these Terms.

13. Apple Notice

This license is between you and Antlogy LLC only, and not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content and makes no warranty regarding it.

14. Google Notice

This license is between you and Antlogy LLC only, and not with Google LLC. Google is not responsible for the App or its content and makes no warranty regarding it.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming / USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. For EU residents, GDPR provisions apply.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” above. Your continued use of the App or the Website after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App and Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.langlogy.com/privacy-policy/.

18. Communications & Marketing

By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional (e.g., subscription confirmations) and promotional emails or in‑app notifications about our subscription plans and other services.
If you no longer wish to receive promotional emails, you may opt out at any time by emailing us at support@langlogy.com. Transactional messages (like billing receipts) cannot be unsubscribed from.
